Who we are

This website is run by Algo Dot Ltd (“Algo Dot”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us about privacy at info@algodot.tech.

What we collect

• When you contact us through the form or by email: your name, company, email address, the topic you choose and your message. When you use the form, we send an automatic email to the address you give to confirm we have received your message. To prevent abuse of the form, we also keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for one hour.
• When you visit the site: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run and secure the website.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not load fonts or scripts from third-party services.

How and why we use it

We use your contact details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you want to work with us, to discuss and arrange that work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We never sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Our website and email are hosted by Hostinger, which processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Where any processing takes place outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and for up to two years afterwards, unless we go on to work together, in which case we keep business records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or delete it;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
• ask for your information in a portable format.
